SMiLES | Special Ministry in Loving Exceptional Souls

MCOC SMiLES seeks to meet the spiritual needs of families impacted by special needs.  Our goal is to have each individual with special needs paired with a group of peers that will encourage inclusive participation in bible studies and church events.  In additional to serving our individuals with special needs, we want to make sure that are caretakers have the support they need to feel at ease in our church family.

We encourage all our families to participate together in our worship assemblies.  However, as we make adjustments to new routines or just need a little more room to move around, Room 203A will be reserved during the 10:30am worship service with a live stream.  The room will be stocked with various fidget items for use while in the room as well busy bags to be used as needed.

As a new ministry within MCOC, there are several opportunities for our members to serve.  Some of the opportunities that we are planning include SMiLES Day, peer activities and caretaker support. For more information, please email smiles@madisonchurch.org.
