Our emphasis for the month of January is on spiritual transformation. Watch the video below featuring some of our own family members talking about the transformation that God has brought about in their lives.

For Julie, the decision to follow Christ was the easy part. However, the consequences of that decision were much more difficult to deal with.

In light of Julie’s comments, here are some things for us to consider:
1) How have you sought God’s guidance for your life?
2) Read Mark 10:17-27. What is holding you back from pursuing transformation or being right in the sight of God?
3) What other scriptures came to mind when you listened to Julie?
4) Are there co-workers or classmates in your life that could be waiting for you to share the Gospel with them? How could        you be a key part of their spiritual transformation?
5) Will you devote yourself this year to regular Bible study?
Take the next few moments and ask God to use you to bring co-workers, family members, and friends to Christ.

Lyjah and Jason may have had different upbringings, but their spiritual transformations have more in common than either of them could have ever thought.
In light of Jason and Lyjah’s comments, consider these things:
1. How has your life changed since you became a Christian?
2. How were your family relationships impacted by your decision to become a Christian?
3. What parts of your life have you not surrendered to God?
4. Will you commit to truly giving control of your life to God this year?
Spend some time in prayer asking God to show you how to let go of control and to surrender it all to Him. Ask Him to transform your heart and your mind into the image of Christ.

For Jason and Lyjah, spiritual transformation isn’t a one time event. In part 2, they talk about how their lives have changed since their conversion and how they quickly got to work in ministries that they felt a unique connection with.
