Evangelism

 
Evangelism is a way of life at the Madison Church of Christ. Every ministry includes some aspect of evangelism. To assist in carrying out the “great commission,” the Evangelism Ministry identifies and organizes efforts that encourage and provide opportunity for all members to share God’s Word with the community.

 

There are many areas of the Evangelism in which you may assist in getting the Gospel to the lost, while growing in your ability and desire to share the gospel with the lost. This includes the obvious work of conducting Bible Studies, but there are many other essential tasks:

  • Planning outreach activities

  • Participating in prayer groups

  • Visiting non-members

  • Sending cards to non-members

  • Calling visitors

  • Tracking and follow-up of students

  • Baby-sitting for others involved in studies or visitation

  • Participating in neighborhood canvas/campaign

  • Conducting neighborhood Bible Studies

  • Talking with friends/neighbors

  • Inviting others to services

  • Assist teachers in Personal Bible Studies

  • Encourage new Christians
