Every individual and family at Madison should pursue the instructions of Jesus in Mark 12:30 when he said to “LOVE GOD with all of your HEART, SOUL, MIND, and STRENGTH.” These four emphases are the foundational quest for our ministry to help further develop in each family Deeper Relationships with God and each other (Heart), Spiritual Development of our abilities (Soul), Practical Biblical Instruction that moves us to action (Mind), and Self-Discipline to accomplish our goals (Strength). Our Family Ministry provides for each of these special focuses in a number of ways.

1) Our Bible Class program offers practical family-centered classes through our Connect Groups as well as weekly offerings of topical and textual studies. These classes extend from the youngest children to most mature adults

2) We nurture parent involvement in our Lads to Leaders program to develop spiritual leadership in our children and families.

3) We provide family enrichment materials through faith-building literature, seminars, workshops, and retreats. These offerings address the full life cycle of the family from preparing for marriage, to parenting, to sharing your faith with your children, to having “the talk,” to launching our children, to caring for aging parents, all the way to grief recovery.

4) We offer spiritual counsel to our families to help identify their strengths and help them overcome their challenges.
